Hi, I’m Kim. I’m a writer and a certified health coach with a running problem. Sometimes I blame my dad—he wouldn’t let me quit the cross country team in high school, even though I was the slowest girl out there. Other times, I blame my type-A tendencies (obsessing over mileage, pacing, and splits just feels so good). But mostly, I hold myself accountable.
Running makes me feel connected to something bigger than myself, it gives me purpose and helps me find my smile. In my 30s, I’m still not the fastest runner out there, but I’m out there. And I love sharing the tips and tricks that I pick up along the way.
I’m not a fitness guru, and I don’t pretend to be. I always try to back up my advice with scientific studies, research, and tips from pros in the exercise field. I’m not a professional runner either, but I do know a thing or two about healthy living—because that’s what I do every day. I’ve studied integrative nutrition and I believe that nourishing your body on the inside, with fresh, organic foods, and staying active will lead to the discovery of your most vibrant, happy self.
Join me as I build up mileage, break in the latest fitness gear, bang out new recipes, and discover that life is Some Kind of Runderful!
